Making strategy-game rules easier to follow

Separate the attacker’s actions from the prisoner’s options so players can find the relevant rule.

The challenge

A long explanation mixed capture, territory changes, restrictions, rescue and shield rules. A literal translation preserved the information but made the action sequence hard to scan.

The approach

Group the explanation under ATTACKER and PRISONER, then use Occupation, Rescue and Shield subheadings. Check terminology against the actual mechanic.

The deliverable

Reorganized English rules with clear sections for each player role.
